WHY THIS EVENT IS TAKING PLACE
Six years ago I was diagnosed with ALS.  After getting over the initial shock I decided I wasn't going to sit around and let time pass me by.  A bucket list was made, which Paul & I continue to fulfill, and I decided I needed to bring awareness of this disease and raise money to support The ALS Association to help people live with ALS and to support research into the cause, cure and treatment of ALS.
Donna's Dugout was formed and over the past 5 years we have raised $75,000 to support my mission.  Your past support of this event has raised $15,000.  We are ever so grateful for your support.  This event takes place because of my family & friends that offer their time & support to make this happen.  If you haven't ever been to one of our past events I hope you will come out and enjoy the day with all the entertainment and ways for you to support my mission.  We don't think you will be disappointed!  Please stop & say hello as I am usually sitting some where or walking around.

September 20, 2011 we will hold a dine out night at The Buckeye Tavern in Macungie from 5-8 PM, 15% of the portion of your food bill will be donated to the ALS Association Walk to Defeat ALS.  We will draw the winners of the raffle tickets and prepare for our Walk to Defeat ALS.  Check back for further details of the event.

October 22, 2011, 10 AM the Walk to Defeat ALS will be held at the ALS at Coca Cola Park, home of the IronPigs.  Check back for further details of the event.
